I have been researching blogs for real estate agents who are just starting out. Blogger is great for agents who are just starting out with blogging. It has no plugins, no complicated back end, and it has a connection every real estate agent wants - it is owned by Google.
Why Blogger, and not WordPress?
If you are familiar with my writings and the overall consensus of online marketing you know that blogging is about the content, not the platform. In fact, I know of some bloggers who have stopped using blog platforms all together and focused on creating content. Blogger is pretty simple to create and use for novice bloggers. Also, there are several instructional videos on how to convert your blogger account to a WordPress blog after you gain some subscribers. One more note about content; recently there was a news story about people who are earning thousands of dollars through videos posted on YouTube. This is another example of content being created regardless of platform.
Blogging is a great place for real estate agents to take their career to the next level. In order to do this, you must write or create content consistently. The video below will show you step by step how to create a Blogger account to begin your real estate blog.
